It’s been a while since I’ve been online I’ve. Spent the last few months helping a jeweler with a retirement sale. Might I ad it was a very successful sale. In that period, I’ve noticed online conversions and concern with “Internet sales” and the effect it may be having on stores. Many of you are feeling it affects. Some have even lost significant sales to the internet. The biggest concern is how do we compete? Before getting into the how-to, I Have a question? I want to address this issue but, the last time I tried (offered) advice through social media, the response was overwhelming the criticism and opinions were far from the point of intelligent conversation and reminded me of a one-sided political debate. Some comments were positive some one-sided. If you’re interested in converting internet shoppers to customers, I will be more than happy to discuss methods that have worked. I know a lot of you are concerned that the Internet, especially in our jewelry industry is undercutting there’s a lot to be said about that. I often wondered how can they, and how long before they’re out of business using price as a business model. With that said, I’ll offer suggestion one on one to those who are intrusted and perhaps will both learn something.
